Pro plan for YouTube thumbnails
I got the Pro plan specifically for creating YouTube thumbnails and it's been pretty solid. The YouTube Thumbnail Maker has a good selection of templates, and I appreciated the ability to upload my own custom fonts. I also tried out the Image Resizer for some older photos and it worked well without losing quality. The interface is clean and straightforward, making it easy to jump in without much of a learning curve. I haven't had to contact support, which usually means things are running smoothly. My downloads were always high-resolution, which is important for video. It's definitely helped my channel look more consistent.
Good tool, some minor issues
I signed up for the Pro plan a few weeks ago to help with social media graphics. The Social Media Graphic Creator is really intuitive; I made a few Instagram Post Creators and a Facebook Cover Maker pretty quickly. The stock photo library was decent, saved me a lot of time. My main gripe was with the Image Background Remover. It worked okay for simple images, but for anything with a bit more complexity, I still had to do some manual touch-up, which wasn't ideal. Overall, I feel like I got good value for the annual billing discount, but that background remover could use some improvement.
Quick banners made
Needed some quick banners. Used the Banner Maker. It was fast and easy. Got what I needed done in minutes. No complaints.
Easy to use for my blog
I needed something simple for my blog images and Snappa totally delivered. I used the Blog Image Creator a bunch. It was super easy to pick a template and just swap out text and pictures. I'm not a design person at all, so this was perfect. Didn't have any trouble getting my images downloaded and onto my site. Felt pretty good about the whole thing.

thinking about getting the annual plan for the discount. is it worth it or should i just stick to monthly for flexibility?
if I cancel my subscription, do I lose access immediately or can I finish out the month I paid for?
what's the deal with the free version? is it basically useless or can you get some decent work done with it?
hey, trying to decide between Snappa and Canva for some quick social media stuff. what are people's thoughts on which is easier for a total noob?
are the images you make with Snappa okay for commercial use? like, can I use them for ads or my business website?
does Snappa work well for making YouTube thumbnails? I need something quick and easy for my channel.
can you actually upload your own fonts in Snappa? that's a big deal for my brand consistency.
how often do snappa coupon codes pop up? looking to get the pro plan but don't want to miss out on a deal.
